“What keeps me going is meeting new people, learning about them and their passions, and finding ways to share in new and fun experiences together. A camera is just a tool that allows me do that.”

Blaine was born and raised in Redmond, Washington where he spent every possible minute outdoors. Whether it was building bike ramps with the neighbor kids, or out on lake Sammamish watching his dad water ski, Blaine always had to be where the action was. In high school, he fell in love with the fast-paced, hard-hitting sport of lacrosse. Blaine first began editing highlight reels for his teammates, which quickly turned into bringing a camera with him everywhere he went (especially the lake). Always being a computer and gadget nerd at heart, he began studying electrical engineering at Arizona State University but quickly learned it wasn’t his cup of tea. After trying a couple different majors, Blaine transferred to a local design college, where he graduated valedictorian with his Associate’s degree in Media Arts. After freelancing in event video for a short time, marketing quickly became a second passion Blaine’s so he continued back at ASU and completed his Bachelor’s degree in marketing at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Today, he loves running the business side of things and building client relationships just as much as he enjoys being behind the camera.
